Walking For Weight Loss?
Can something as easy as walking really burn off excess bodyfat? Yes, at least in subjects who have only 10 pounds or so to lose.
A study had women walk regularly at an aerobic pace. Ten weeks later, bodyweight was down only slightly for most subjects. But they were definitely slimmer: Each had replaced at least 1 pound of fat with 1 pound of muscle, getting smaller and firmer in the process.
Just think where your clients would be if they’d started regular fast walking 10 weeks back, or 20?
